Following her undergraduate studies, Mrs Thompson pursued her legal education at King’s College London, obtaining her law degree with distinction. During her legal training, she worked extensively in legal research and academic support, earning recognition for her commitment to pro bono legal services and community outreach initiatives.

Upon qualifying as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, Mrs Thompson began her legal career within the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), where she was involved in the prosecution of serious criminal matters, including organised crime, drug-related offences, and other complex criminal cases. Her prosecutorial experience provided her with invaluable advocacy skills and a thorough understanding of court procedures and litigation strategy.

In 2016, Mrs Thompson transitioned to private practice to focus on her longstanding interest in family law. She represented clients across a broad range of family matters, including divorce proceedings, child arrangements, financial remedy applications, spousal maintenance disputes, adoption matters, and cases involving local authority intervention and safeguarding concerns.

In June 2018, Mrs Thompson joined Rich Robert Awuni’s Chambers, where she continues to provide dedicated legal support to individuals and families facing challenging personal and legal circumstances. She is recognised for her compassionate approach, practical legal advice, and unwavering commitment to achieving positive outcomes for her clients.
